Who We Are
HHLC is a STEM Academy serving children ages 0-5 (full-day) and ages 6-12 (before and after school). We are experienced in bridging traditional early learning with innovative, hands-on education. Young minds are introduced to science, technology, and mathematics through engaging and age-appropriate activities. Our simple robotics and coding excite students and encourage exploration and collaboration.
Our experienced educators believe true education is the ability to bridge solid early‑learning foundations with hands-on experiences that allow children to build curiosity, critical thinking, and problem solving from day one. Our small teacher student ratio is intentional because it allows our staff to give students the attention they deserve.
HHLC’s curriculum is aligned to the Texas Pre‑K Guidelines and intentionally integrates language, math, science, technology, and the arts. Our cross curricular focus is purposeful, age-appropriate, and engaging.
At HHLC, a typical day for instruction includes prayer, circle time, and scripture. Our students rotate through academic centers, play outside, eat lunch, and take naps or participate in quiet time. All activities are above what Texas minimum standards require.
You will never have to worry about the safety or academic success of your student because we are partners and together we will SPARK!
S - Safety First (Protect and nurture every child)
P - Partnership with Families (work hand-in-hand with families for each child’s success)
A - Achievement Through Innovation (inspire curiosity and excellence though STEM)
R - Respect & Inclusion (value diversity and treat each other with dignity and kindness)
K - Knowledge & Growth (encourage continuous learning for children, families, and staff)
A Message From The Director
As an educational leader with experience in a myriad of roles, spanning from classroom teacher to Principal, I bring both heart and expertise to Helping Hands Learning Center. My journey through mental health counseling, teaching, and administration, coupled with my doctorate in Superintendency, has prepared me to create this special place where young minds flourish and thrive.
Education is not just my profession, it is my calling. When there is a calling over your life, you move with purpose and the drive propels you to overcome obstacles that guide every decision and action made. My career has always been dedicated to creating environments where children feel valued, supported, and inspired to explore their potential. At Helping Hands, we recognize each child is a gift and it is our job to nurture them through personalized attention and engaging experiences that will never be forgotten.
I understand the tremendous trust you place in us, and I consider it a privilege to partner with your family. When you choose Helping Hands Learning Center, you are not just enrolling in a program, you are joining a family, a community that is committed to igniting the spark that will guide your child's future success.
